NEIGHBORHOOD PROFILE

Dewdney East is bordered by the Ross Industrial Lands and East Regina Industrial Lands to the north, the Al Ritchie and Arcola East neighbourhoods to the south of Victoria Avenue, the City limits to the east and the Ross Industrial Lands to the west. The following are located within the Dewdney East neighbourhood boundaries: Creekside; Eastgate; East Pointe Estates; Glencairn; Glencairn Village; Glen Elm Park; Parkridge; Rothwell Place; and a section of Mayfair.

Dewdney East is one of Regina’s largest neighbourhoods by area and population. The neighbourhood combines post-war and newly developed subdivisions located on the east side of the neighbourhood. Neighbourhood expansion is continuing to the south of Prince of Wales Drive. 

The neighbourhood has seven elementary schools and one high school. There are several neighbourhood level parks and one zone level park serving the ball and soccer communities. Parkridge Park has a spray park and rubber surfacing under the play structures and was recently upgraded to make it accessible. A pathway runs along the Creekside Environmental Reserve, which is a nautura

Dewdney East includes a shopping mall on Dewdney Avenue and other retail and commercial services on the north side of Victoria Avenue, including restaurants, hotels, major businesses, service stations and convenience stores. Representatives of the Dewdney East Community Association enjoy the close proximity of the Ring Road to the neighbourhood, providing easy access to the entire city.
